Frontend Developer with expertise in React and Web3 technologies
I'm Baqir Nekfar, a Computer Science graduate with almost 5 years of experience in frontend development. I specialize in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, building modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
Currently, I'm working with the Micro1 ecosystem at RoVr (since Sep 2024), and previously worked with OliveX and Softwareship on various Web3 and frontend projects. I enjoy mentoring junior developers and building products together — most recently TOEFLPrep, an AI-powered TOEFL practice platform.
Beyond coding, I'm passionate about fitness and community building — I'm also a futsal player.

Frontend Developer
Developing and maintaining AI-native healthcare platforms for patients and providers. Reduced initial bundle size over 95% (20MB to 765KB) through dependency upgrades, dead code removal, lazy loading, and code splitting. Established a feature-driven reusable component architecture and built dashboards with interactive AI chat flows. TOEFLPrep
I have always loved managing a team and helping junior developers learn and grow. Recently I managed a junior developer and coded alongside him to build this platform for TOEFL test takers — simulated full-length tests with approximate scores delivered instantly by AI. Built full-stack on Next.js with Sanity CMS, Backblaze for audio and image assets, and Vercel for deployment. OpenAI Whisper powers the speaking section; DeepSeek handles text-only sections.
Cloud Station
Designed a beautiful user interface for a deployment service using modern frontend technologies, implementing real-time notifications with Socket.io.
Dustland Crypto Payments
Developed dynamic crypto payment pages for Dustland virtual races, enabling users to purchase packages with cryptocurrency.
Dune 404 Token
Built a creative UI landing page and registration page for the Dune 404 whitelist and crafted the UI for post-collection sale.
